Terms of Use

Last updated: 25 October 2026 · Version 1

By using Film Crew Directory you agree to these terms.

The service

A free directory where film professionals and production companies can be found, add their own profiles with portfolio links, and like each other’s work.

Your account

You must be 18 or older and give a valid email address.
One personal profile per person. Only post information about yourself or your own company, and keep it accurate.
You can delete your account at any time in Account → Delete my account.

Adding other people

You may add other professionals or companies only with public information or their permission: name, profession, city, public links and a work email they publish. You may not add anyone’s phone number or private details. You can edit or delete entries you added until the person takes them over. At most 30 additions per day.

Community rules — zero tolerance

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post or send:

sexual, hateful, violent, threatening, defamatory or illegal content;
spam, advertising unrelated to film work, scams or malware links;
someone else’s personal data without their permission, or content that impersonates another person.

Do not harass anyone, and use contact details only for professional purposes.

Reports and moderation

Every entry has “Report” and, for user profiles, “Block this person”. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content that breaks these rules and, where needed, the account that posted it. Blocking hides that person’s profile from you immediately. A basic filter also rejects profiles with prohibited words.

Content you post

You keep the rights to your content. You allow us to show it to signed-in users of the app for as long as it is published. Links to your work point to other websites, which are not under our control.

Liability

The app is provided “as is”, free of charge. We do our best to keep it working and accurate but do not guarantee it. Agreements you make with other users are between you and them.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; if the change is significant we will ask you to accept them again. Contact: your-email@example.com. Hungarian law applies, without limiting your rights as a consumer where you live.
